History of DIET, Deogarh

Previously this institute was known as Secondary Training School (STs) Deogarh and it was established 1967.This institution has been upgraded to the District Resource Centre(DRC),Deogarh in the year 2009 and later upgraded to the existing District Institution of Education and Training (DIET) Deogarh in the year of November 2014 ,located at Purunagarh ,Deogarh, Odisha.

Vision

To make the DIET a learning organization in the District.
To ensure quality education in the District by providing academic support to teachers according to their needs promoting Research and Innovation.

Mission

To provide guidance for achieving excellence in all fields by giving adequate training and guidance .
To provide academic and Resource support for the success of the various strategies and programs being undertaken in the District.
To undertake Action Research study and curriculum development to improve the quality of Primary Education.
